I am getting on the phone tomorrow to talk to people at the club. One of the things on the agenda is to ask the club to open one of the stands to give our manager a warm Aston Villa welcome when he is announced.

Anyway, the reason for this short post is to gauge fan reaction to the idea of opening a stand (depending on feedback, it could be any of the four), t to meet our new man. Obviously if the ambitious plans to unveil Carlo Ancelotti as Villa manager go ahead, I am sure there will be quite a lot of people wanting to be there. I know I will be (obviously). Carlo would be, without doubt, the most successful manager we have had in charge should it come off.

So what do you think? Would this sort of thing interest you? Do you think we could get a good crowd if we do get our first choice?
