It will be a three horse race for the title most of the season with United winning somewhat comfortably. There’s a huge gulf in class from the top three to the next three. Arsenal, Spurs, or Liverpool could finish 4th depending on what they do the rest of the window. If Arsenal lose Nasri and Fabregas or Spurs lose Modric they could take a huge step back. Neither Spurs nor Liverpool have done nearly enough to address their defense. If things break right for Villa they could finish ahead of one out of those three and sneak back into Europe. QPR will be this year’s West Ham, dysfunction behind the scenes will be their undoing. The league won’t be as competitive as last season, 37-38 points will be the magic number for safety. In his second year at Real Madrid Jose Mourhino finds a way to win the Champions League.
