Inspirational.

We often hear the word a lot nowadays, but rarely is it as deserved as when mentioned in the context of a man I am honoured to call a friend.

For those that don’t know, Pete has been running eight marathons over the past eight days in order to raise money for a number of charities. Last year he ran from Celtic Park to Villa Park, this year he has run all around the country to raise awareness for a number of causes – Cure Leukaemia, Acorns, Pancreatic Cancer UK, and NCCA UK.

We will be welcoming Pete back to Villa Park as he reaches the end of this challenge, and I’d like to take the opportunity to get people to donate to the cause – one I would wholly recommend given both Pete’s tireless efforts, but also to help raise funds to beat cancer.

To donate, you can click the following link, so have a look and see if you can chuck in a couple of quid for a man who is an inspiration to me and many of our fellow Villans.
