Tomorrow we are back in action at Villa Park. Our opponents? Chelsea – a team that, just last season, gave us one of the worst beatings in our Premier League history.

Yes, that result came at Stamford Bridge, but we should certainly be wary against a team that is, again, managed by Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea are still contending at the top of the table for the title and will be looking to continue that challenge with a win at Villa Park.

For Aston Villa, a draw might even suffice – in the context of who our opponents are – but there has to be a point where we start picking up points in order to escape any possibility of relegation.

As it stands, three wins from the next ten games should be enough to stay up – a feat that most would argue is achievable, even if it isn’t done in any straight forward manner. Of course, long suffering fans would know that Villa always have to over complicate things, though they mostly tend to come out safe – how long that luck can last for is anyone’s guess though.

Will Villa be able to come away with anything? We’ll have our full statistics preview tomorrow morning so look out for that but, in the meantime, let us know how you think things will pan out.

Wishing you all a good weekend ahead.

PS Apologies for the short length of the article – I had to write it this morning in a rush as Jason’s article had not arrived at the time of writing.
