Emile Heskey is virtually everyone’s favorite whipping boy, and the “Powerhouse” has come in for more stick courtesy of a FIFA 12 “tribute”. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me shake my head. If you’ve somehow missed seeing it, here it is:

I don’t know where people find the time. But they have.

In other “news”, it seems Jermaine Jenas is three or four games away from being ready. His achilles injury is apparently less serious than initially thought, and he is looking to step up his training to get match fit. Alex McLeish says the player was thoroughly checked prior to joining the club, and has just been unlucky.

When he is finally fit, it will seem like a new signing.

James Collins, however, seems likely to be fit for the Albion game.

Chris Herd has opted to represent Australia rather than Scotland. He was born in Australia to Scottish parents.

Transfer Rumor(?)

Sky Sports say Villa are keeping tabs on 27-year-old Danish player Simon Poulsen, who can play either at fullback or midfield. He’ll apparently be out of contract with AZ Almaar at the end of the season.

I don’t much about him, maybe you do. But when I saw “left-sided” and “fullback” I was at encouraged that we might be looking at someone.
